Tinctures are herbal remedies that use drinking alcohol to extract the active properties in the plant. Tinctures are strong and only require drops to be taken compared to cups of a tea or tablespoons of a syrup. They can also be mixed and blended for your own custom formulas. This guide takes the guesswork out of making herbal tinctures. Folk methods of making tinctures avoids weights and measurements but does not provide consistency in results. The standard weights and measurements tincture making is precise but can be confusing. This method simplifies the process reducing furistration and giving potent plant remedies.
